While the LTC offices are closed, staff is continuing to update the three channels with information about the pandemic that comes from the MA Statehouse, Congress, our local officials, and local nonprofits. When representatives send in town hall teleconferences, video interviews, and graphical information, we put it up as soon as possible. The LTC Facebook page is very active, with updates almost every day.
Staffer Steve Manock has been scheduling wonderful classic movies on Channel 8, and original programming from Free Speech TV continues to be scheduled during the early morning hours.
As a public access station, any community member is welcome to send us a program or original video for broadcast as long as the program is not copyrighted or commercial. We may ask you to sign a disclaimer form before broadcasting a program that is produced elsewhere. We hope that community members will be creative and send in video to share with their neighbors.
