Expanding Live Meeting Coverage on LTC Channels

LTC will begin covering meetings in the Mayor’s Reception Room with three robotic cameras and a Livestream switcher. Meetings may go live from there on Channel 8 if another meeting is live on 99 from the City Council Chamber. The production team, led by Municipal Director Matt Nelson, includes Pamela DeBarros and Jose Negron.

Open House and Party!

LTC’s Open House and Party on January 25 was a celebration of a new year of community media in Lowell. Eighty people attended the event, including long-time producers and potential new members. Lots of program ideas were discussed and productions planned. Live music by the Boston band, The Cat-Lit Jazz Ensemble created a mellow mood.

Matt Nelson appointed Director of Municipal Programming

We are pleased to announce that current Municipal Producer Matt Nelson will move up to the position of Director of Municipal Programming. He will work with meeting producers Jose Negron and Pam DeBarros to cover the City Hall meetings and other community events, and produce municipal programs.
